The Organisers invite you to come together this autumn in Budapest
• to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1961 Rome Convention and the 15th anniversary of the 1996 WPPT;
• to recognise and esteem the contribution of WIPO, UNESCO and ILO, as well as that of the international non-governmental organisations, to the establishment and improvement of the international protection of the rights of performers and phonogram producers;
• to examine through critical eyes what have and what have not been achieved by the Rome Convention and the WPPT; and
• to share thoughts and ideas on how to shape the future of rights in performances.
Participation is open for all representatives from the member organisations of
• the Association of European Performers' Organisations (AEPO-ARTIS)
• the International Federation of Actors (FIA)
• the International Federation of Musicians (FIM)
• the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI)
• the Societies' Council for the Collective Management of Performers' Rights (SCAPR)
• the Federación Ibero-Latinoamericana De Artistas, Interpretes Y Ejecutantes (FILAIE)
• the Ibero-American Association of Performers' Organizations (LATIN ARTIS)
Since neither our resources, nor the seating capacity of the venue are infinite, participation had to be limited to 200 persons.
There is no registration fee for participation, but advance registration for the Conference is required. Registrations will be accepted in the order they are received.
